Goose Lake is an 81 acre lake located in Adams County. It has a maximum depth of 22 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing near the public beach. Fish include Largemouth, Bass Northern Pike and Panfish. Wildlife commonly seen at the lake are Geese, Herons, Sandhill Cranes, Turtles, Deer and many more!
Goose Lake is a popular destination for fishing, observing wildlife, canoeing, kayaking, and many other watersport activities. Normal wake hours are 11am-5:30pm everyday.
NOTICE: EFFECTIVE APRIL 10, 2019: DUE TO EXTRAORDINARY HIGH WATER-UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE THERE IS A TEMPORARY NO WAKE ZONE IN PLACE ON THE ENTIRE LAKE TO PROTECT THE SHORELINE AND SHORELINE PROPERTIES.
